Love

  • Remember those "young loves"? Most people had someone they really liked but were afraid to tell them. I did, but I didn't "confess with my mouth": she never knew because I was afraid to tell her.

That was a long time ago and I have learned a lot since then. However, for a long time I wished I had said something.

So I encourage you not to make that mistake with God: Acknowledge your feelings and what you believe. You need to say it and He needs to hear it. Today would be a good day...

But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Rom 10:8-10 NIV)
