- When you ask God for something and you do not get what you asked for, do you feel that He did not answer your prayer? Do you feel neglected, or perhaps even rejected?
Today's message deals with one reason the answer we want may not come. But then, there can be many.
The bottom line is that God is going to do "what is best for you even when it is not what you think you need or want at the moment". As for me, I am glad it is that way; I had rather trust His judgment over my own any day.
You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. (James 4:2-3 NIV)
