- I find it disturbing when people talk more about the organization than they do God, because in my opinion, the organizations exist only to provide a connection for fellowship and a structure for worship, teaching, and evangelism. They are not a purpose in and of themselves without the Lord. (Or did I misunderstand something?)
"Forget the bass." It's all about the Lord. Seek Him wholeheartedly.
This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah, doing what was good and right and faithful before the LORD his God. In everything that he undertook in the service of God's temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered. (2 Chr 31:20-21 NIV)
