Our modern, independent culture conditions us to think that embracing these shows weakness. We are taught to think that we have to always be in control, have all the answers, show no weakness, make no mistakes...
And I believe any control we think we have is illusory.
God's ways are opposite: Admitting weakness is how we gain true strength, surrender is how we become truly free, and confessing failure is how we will become perfect in Him.
So, "Come, let us bow down in worship..."
Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.
